WESTERN STARS CALI DANCE STUDIO

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT

At Western Stars Cali Dance Studio (WSCDS), we are committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of children, including First Nations children, children with disabilities, children from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children that are gender diverse.

Western Stars Cali Dance Studio will work to promote the mental health and wellbeing of children, instil a culture of child safety, listen to the voice of our children and work to reduce the risk of harm. All children have a right to feel and be safe.

We have zero tolerance for any form of child abuse and all allegations or safety concerns will be taken seriously and reported promptly in line with our policies and procedures.

Western Stars Cali Dance Studio regards its child protection responsibilities with the utmost importance and is committed to providing the necessary resources, regular training and education to ensure compliance with all relevant child protection laws and regulations and maintaining a child safe culture.

Each member of WSCDS has a responsibility to understand the important and specific role they play individually, and collectively, to ensure that the wellbeing and safety of all children is at the forefront of all that they do, and every decision they make.
